Pairing with a Bluetooth® device

Applies to:

in order for any bluetooth® enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) to operate with your headphones, the device and the headphones need to be paired. once the headphones and a device have been paired, they will automatically reconnect when turned on.

to pair the headphones with your device:

Slide the control module power switch to the “on” position so the green colour is visible

press and hold the multifunction and volume + buttons together until the bluetooth® indicator blinks purple. the headphones are now discoverable and ready to pair with your device

turn on your bluetooth® enabled device, ensuring bluetooth® power is "on" in the device

on your device, locate the bluetooth® device list and select "bose® ae soundlink®"

if your bluetooth® device asks for a passkey, enter digits 0000

note: if the bluetooth® indicator does not turn solid blue, the wireless connection has not been made.

turn the headphones off and repeat steps 1 to 5
