System pauses randomly when playing discs
If you system seems to do things on its own without your input (i.e. turning on/off, changing volume or sources), it might be receiving commands unintentionally from a nearby device or remote control. To resolve this, try the following:
Check for scratches, fingerprints or other physical damage.
The disc may be scratched or damaged which may prevent it from playing properly.
Remove the batteries from nearby remotes.
A nearby remote might be malfunctioning (i.e. a jammed button). Remove the batteries from other remotes in the area and check if the issue is resolved.
Reset your product.
Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more info, see Resetting your product.
Your product may need service.
